Located adjacent to the Saddleback Mountains, Coto de Caza is a magnificent 5,000 acre private guard-gated community in South Orange County. Miles of unspoiled natural beauty abound in this community making it one of the most prestigious master-planned communities in the United States.
Business need:
The community wanted to enhance its residents’ experience by providing a single portal for community information and for visitor management. It also wanted to expand its call center coverage to 24/7 – but with no incremental expense. Keeping track of visiting vendors and club members was also a high priority, since their existing system could not easily distinguish between the different types of people entering the community, resulting in potential security risks. In summary, their system was just not performing to the expectations that were set when they first decided to use it. The community was also looking to reduce the number of vendors it had to deal with – and the increased administrative expense of doing so.
Solution:
In less than three weeks from the community’s decision to change, dwellingLIVE was able to successfully replace the all the existing solutions. The data from the running systems was extracted, cleansed and staged into dwellingLIVE’s Community Website and Visitor Management system, including residents’ personal information, details of their vehicles and transponders, and directions to their homes from the three gatehouses. The HID Controllers were reconfigured to work with dwellingLIVE’s Access Control System and the output from nine LPR cameras was rerouted to dwellingLIVE’s LPR Systems.
Benefits:
CZ Master was able to combine both their Community Website and Visitor Management systems into a single, integrated solution. Using a single sign-on, residents can now manage their guests, keep informed of community goings-on, and decide which of the many email or SMS notifications offered by the community they would like to receive. In little more than a month, over 2,500 residents have already logged in to the dwellingLIVE system and more than 14,000 calls have been handled by dwellingLIVE’s Resident Call Center. By using dwellingLIVE’s solution, the community’s management team has already been able to realize significant monetary savings. They are finding the new system both easier to use and more comprehensive than its predecessor, resulting in improved customer service and fewer resident complaints.
